I want to tap into my horn wire to trigger a relay that will (with a flip of an Outfitter switch) Give me a BigRig horn for people texting at green lights.

Can anyone tell me where the OEM horns are located? Ive looked around up and down, between..they are tucked in pretty well.

Thx!

Are you going full rig / air tank and all, or just bigger tooters?

OK installed the new horn this past weekend
I went with a double horn and instant on compressors..no airtank needed--ITS FRIGGIN LOUD!!

I'll create a thread for others that wanna do the same.

lifted flap to left of radiator and could reach down and unclick the horn harness to tap a trigger wire from

Mounted my twin compressors in the passenger fender, accessed thru the pop out plastic black vent-both slid right thru on a thin bracket I tec screwed down

two relays let an Outfitter switch activate the big horns and when off the reg horn only works

Total cost $104

Tagged for interest.

I want to install an air horn. Got a Stebel Brio on my car and it’s loud.

You gotta be selective when you use it. It scares most cuz they’re not used to that type of horn.

Bumping this up for some more information couldn’t find the install thread and wanted to see how this was working a year later. Been looking at doing something like this since I’m planning to be installing light kits at the same time.
