Finally had a warm and dry day here, so I installed my custom tail gate emblem from Billet Badges:

I was concerned that the 3M adhesive alone, while very strong, wasn’t going to be enough until I realized the holes on the back are threaded (5mm x 0.8), and align perfectly with where the plastic alignment pins are on the stock badge. A couple M5x10mm hex head bolts plus washers later and bueno!

Super subtle most of the time, but a great look in my obviously biased opinion.

I am a long time member at AB, but my garage is nowhere near there

I’ve had a social membership at AB for a few years now. I usually run with LAPS and MVP events there. Do you do any of that?

I coached for Shawn one year for Laps, but with a full membership, I usually try to go on slower days. Most recently (since I stopped racing) I just go to do testing for my old team.

Really hard to capture what the stealth looks like in photos...but regardless, here’s a couple from #snowysunday

One of the cleanest I've seen. What color are the headlight accents? Matte, Satin?

Thanks, it’s coming along nicely!

Finally addressed a weak link, the Brakes. Got the Rotors, SS lines and Amsoil from Chris @ Freedom Motorsports (Vendor here). Local shop supplied the pads and the Beast stops now!

Added another small light bar to the front. I wanted something subtle and don't require a ton of wattage. I opted for the zRoadz lower grill light and was exactly the look I wanted. Install was a breeze, probably spent 30 minutes max on it. Later this week I'll install the license plate relocation bracket so the po-po don't hassle me.

Finally got around to installing my UPR catch can... Took me tens...yes, tens of minutes to install! :D

And half of that was figuring out how I wanted to run the lines, figuring out what tools I needed, and tracking down some Locktite blue for the mount threads. Directions didn’t call for it and it has lock washers, but I’m a belt and suspenders kind of guy when it comes to mounting hardware.

Kit out of the box:

And installed:

i-FSBgbN9-X3.jpg

Didn’t take any in progress pics because it really is a super easy install, and there are already several how-to videos, etc. out there. Biggest “challenge” was figuring out where to install the Wide Open Throttle (WOT) fitting since my ‘18’s intake tubing is a bit different from that pictured in the directions and in the video I referenced on line. Wound up mounting it near the battery, just before where it turns down to connect to the passenger side turbo:

i-RKhkRF5-X3.jpg

Again, super easy install and glad I finally got around to putting it in...can I get a “so to speak!”

The stock tube from the PCV valve back into the intake wasn’t ridiculously contaminated, but definitely had a fair amount of oil residue in there:

i-zGw6jwX-X3.jpg

I almost bought a JLT can, but really liked the OEM fittings on this one, and the additional line to the intake for WOT. Still not sure if it’s worth the additional cost (more than double the JLT can setup), but really happy with how it mounts out of sight under the intake instead of up on the firewall, and again that the lines and fittings look OEM.
Working on a partial trade for which I still hope to acquire the same kit. Looks good. I’d be interested to know how much you get at first oil change. How many miles at install?
