I've been doing alot of research on tunes, intercoolers and CIA's for my 2019. I think i'm pretty much sold on the MPT tune from what i've seen on #'s and what people have to say about them. For intercoolers im torn between doing the ADD or waiting on the COBB to come out and for CIA's there seems to be little difference between most of them but I am leaning toward COBB on that too. Does Mike at MPT have any suggestions on which intercoolers and CIA's pair best with the MTP tune/does anyone else who is familiar with the tune have suggestions?
I'd go Full Race or wait for Cobb - either will perform very similar to one another - OEM is garbage. Since MPT doesn't test (to my knowledge) with different hardware configurations, they wouldn't really be able to offer a 'best' of. They will say that an intercooler can only help - A CAI will do very little...

Where do you live? Get the Ngauge and monitor your intercooler then decide if you need one.. I haven’t found the need for an aftermarket intercooler but I live in WI.

I believe MPT sells the Wagner IC that goes in the stock location and ADD for frame cut bumpers.

Gotcha, I'll probably just wait for COBB then. From what your saying it sounds like a CIA and an intercooler will offer minimal power gain on top of the MPT tune and the real benefit is in repeat power. Do you think that adding an exhaust into the mix of those bolt ons will add any significant peak Hp/Tq numbers on top of the MPT tune or do you think that the truck is essentially maxed out after the tune? (with the exception of going to larger turbos)

Engines are just giant pumps really. The quicker you can get air in and out will result in more power. How much more on the Raptor? Not sure.

I am dropping my truck off to Mike tomorrow to get the final revisions done and hopefully all tweaks will be ready to apply.

I saw the Wagner IC you are taking about as display item in the lobby. So I can confirm they sell it.

I will post more after but I would imagine Mpt will be ready to start selling their products to everyone very soon.

I've got 35k miles on my '18 with MPT tune. Love it. I put my truck back to stock when I've brought it the dealer... And feels like a **** when I take the tune off. I can't wait to put the tune back in! Mike and team are top notch.
