I think so. And those would not lock out so that your passengers would be able to use them while you are driving.

I can confirm most of this when I get the part that’s missing and install it.
I'm thinking I really want to do this! Couple quick questions if either of you guys can answer:
1) Can you definitely download and use any app from the google play store?
2) Can you use all of the apps while driving (like watch espn or youtube/netflix/etc) without the video locking out?

Ok, I’m in. Ordered one today. We’ll see how long it takes to get here!

Planning to install myself- already had the dash apart once, so shouldn’t be too difficult, but will definitely take any tips/pointers you guys discover!

Difficulty level 2.

It took literally 15 minutes to have all the stock components out. If I wasn’t missing a part it would have taken 30 minutes more to have it running. 15 to swap the havac controls and 15 to install it.

Since I have a ‘17, I plan to use a WiFi hotspot obd2 from AT&T with unlimited data to unlock the full potential of the tablet. Streaming music, real time navigation... etc.

Honestly, beyond that I’d grab my cell phone anyway. Beyond that, the biggest improvement will be the aesthetics.
