If you read through these forums you'll see it is pretty typical to wait 2 - 3 months for a custom ordered Raptor to be built.

Well, I can start by saying. Nobody at 2 separate dealerships new a damn thing about all the new features. Including the so called specialist at ford when a called the morning before ordering and was told the blue portion on the Recaro was not suede/aka antra. The GM at the first dealerships told me the same thing. I stressed this would be an everyday truck and I wanted all leather. I came home that Friday and found out over the weekend that the Recaro were alacantra/ suede type material. Called the GM told him we needed to change to the standard seats which by the way I was told was all leather too. Just like the 18 on their showroom. And he told sorry can’t do that the orders already placed. So I called my cc company canceled the deposit and went to another dealership too order my truck. While ordering the truck at the 2nd dealership the GM is arguing with me telling me the wheels havnt changed. I had to shut him up with a pic off auto trader. He was quite embarrassed. Then he told me the screw had a 6ft bed???? False info across the board. I mean come on the f150 is fords bread and butter. I can’t believe this shit so far. But it gets better. So he assures the standard interior is just like his 18 on his floor as well. So fast forward a couple of weeks and I find out the 19 standard interior has cloth bolsters. I can’t ******* believe it at this point. I downgraded the Recaro a because of this problem. Now I’m stuck with the same problem?? Really??? So I called and the 2nd dealer got it changed back too Recaro. I figure I can ger some seat covers. So about a month has gone by and I contact Ford performance and they say the vehicle says transit. And of course my ******* is like “great where is it in transit too? The factory, rail yard, dealer. And the guys like “ no ******* it’s a ford transit van”. Lol.... wtf. Called the dealer ******* him out and told him my truck better be in order. Contacted ford performance again and they still havnt even started on my order. And was told the order was placed the day after I bitch the dealer out. Called the dealer about the delay and was told no raptors are being built at the moment. I contacted ray at ford performance and he couldn’t believe a GM would tell me that and said thought it was unreal they would say that. So ya, Ford is a ******* joke so far. This is my first Ford and I’m already regretting it and the truck isn’t even here. I don’t mind waiting. I waited 4 months for my skyline. I just don’t like getting yanked around and Being lied too. Furthermore, I had too findout all the info on the truck myself when I should be able to rely o. The manufacturer and dealer for that info. Anymore ******** and I’m going too cancel and buy a different vehicle. Ford is a ******* joke so far. No wonder the company is in the ******* right now.

All yall chill. Nobody has had to wait longer than 5 months for peeps that placed order day of or after 2019 production commenced.

All yall whining need to relax and enjoy life. Geez , yall are a pain! And you wonder why dealers treat ya like that. It goes both ways.

Also, do your own research. Salespeople are alot of times in high turnover position. Mangers are overworked trying to get numbers up, not researching your alancantara desires.

On a positive note....i got my sticker today!!!! Stoked!!!

It’s already been 2-3 months.
Re
I didn’t even get into how both dealers where trying to charge 80k for the truck from the start. I had to have the owner of the dealerships right hand man at Nissan where I take the skyline tell his gm at his ford dealership they where selling me the truck at mrsp. While ordering the truck the first time the ****** bag acted like he was doing me a favor. And he didn’t even know squat about his own product. Sad I had too pull strings to buy a vehicle at msrp. Lol... By the time I went too the 2nd dealership and they knew they just about lost me they where happy too sell me the truck at msrp. And stated themselves they 80k price tag is “ for out of towners”.???? The whole experience is a load of shit thus far. I buy a lot of cars and I know the level of service I should get when spending this kind of money and this is far from it.

Not even that much money in perspective.

A loaded lariat costs 60k. And where I live im South Texas a BUNCH of guys have King Ranch Superdutys that cost the same if not more.....

Get over it bro...just relax...or go buy a dodge rebel off the lot

Dude..chill.

Its not even that much money, when you put into perspective. Soccer moms drive loaded expeditions that cost 60-70k. Loaded Lariat f150 costs over 60.

Where Iam from(South Texas) lots of ranchers and farmers drive King Ranch Super Duty trucks that cost the same or more.

Get over urself. You need to go to Ram, where a nice red one is available for delivery. That would prolly make you more satisfied.

And stop being a pain

I don’t mind waiting. Just don’t like being lied too. They tell you 8-10 weeks to get your money and get you committed. Then turnaround and **** off their timeline on a majority of customers. I don’t know what you all are smoking by defending Fords dog shit timeline. I’m guessing a few of you in here work for ford. Lol

Definitely dont work for Ford, in fact, I don’t work. I do however have a life, and while I’d love to have a new ordered car or truck come just as I ordered in 3 weeks, I’m smart enough to know how car companies and dealerships allocation process works.

You need to take a chill pill.
