Question, I was quoted $2,800 for xpel ultimate full front ppf and $2,400 for Modesta pro level ceramic coating. These prices do not include any paint correction and was told that since my rap is new, it would probably require 6-8 hrs of paint correction at $75/hr. Do these prices seem right to those of you who have had this work done? I dont know if it is Chicago prices, but $6k seems like a lot to me to just wrap the front and coat the vehicle. I believe the company is very reputable and has nothing but 5 star reviews.

seems very high to me. i have done last 8 cars full pain correction maybe 40hrs worth and 2 stage coating. paint looks liquid when done and always keep that shine and wash foam gun only never touch the paint cost $1500

will be very last thing done to my raptor which is 3 weeks out at least but will post all pics.

i was there when truck came off trailer dealership never washed it or would only swirl it up and be more work. just pull white plastic off paint and give it to me dirty which is what i asked for. they thought i was crazy.

Another 2400 to do the coating on top of the front wrap? Seems like a lot for that. The paint correction seems about right for it to be perfect. Ideally you remove every single defect in the paint prior to putting on a clear bra as many will last well over 5 years. I always ask my customers what they're looking for before a job and what they want to spend. Most customers are happy getting the paint 90% perfect, since that can be done without too much work and to 99% of people, it will be "perfect". It's that last 10% that's hard. It can double or triple the cost of a job, but I always recommend it for PPF... But most people can't tell the difference.

$2400 for Modesta BC-04 Nano-Titanium Glass Coating including 1 Stage Paint Correction is about right. Their BC-08 is going for about $1895. Modesta is by far one of the best Ceramic Coatings. Their BC-04 actually crystallizes.

XPEL is hazy and has a lot of orange peel look to it. Both Suntek and LLumar Platinum Paint Protection Film are very good (Suntek is now owned by LLumar). Best one is Prestige ClearGuard Nano Paint Protection Film, it is also the clearest and glossiest on the market today. Full Front end is about $2495 for sedans and coupes, SUV and Trucks are typically more due to the size of the front end.
