I'm very excited I'm about to take possession of my first raptor. I know I'll buy a bed cover. Has anyone had any experience with gatortrax retractable bed cover? Good or bad.
Ordered velocity blue with upgraded wheels. Bed cover comes in matte black or gloss. I'm leaning matte black. Anyone got an opinion?

I wanted a roll up but I didn’t like the boxes. It takes up room and the bed is short enough as it is. So I first got the Peragon cover. Nice, study, easy install but then I found its flaw. If you have load in the bed and the load shifts locations and happens to slide forward, you can’t open the cover because the load blocks it from moving. So you ave to crawl into the bed, move the load so you can press down to get it open. So I ditched it and got the bakflip. I love it. It’s sleek, strong, looks great, and it’s so easy to use!!

When you open the Bakflip up all the way, you have to lean it against the back of the cab and window and it completely blocks vision out of the back of the window, correct? Thanks

+1 for retrax. Raptors are not work truck. Losing a foot of bed space won't hurt it. The way the retractabkes work is priceless. I have the retrax one MX.

Had Bakflip for 5 years. Liked it but had remove completely if using bed for bikes, hauling etc. cuz didn’t like no viz out back. Ither downside is no system to put gear on top.

Just installed Ridglander w bike racks. Love it so far.

Agree roll ups take up too much room.
