Body Armor

Has anyone come across a company that manufactures armor to protect the fenders and bedside panels on a GEN 1? I slid into a tree while on a snowy trail and put a nice dent in the bedside panel above the rear right wheel. Local shop wants $1,500 to repair it but I have a feeling it will happen again. I would prefer to put some armor or a rail in that area to protect in case of future impacts.

Ouch. Not even AR500 is gonna stop that. An exo cage probably wouldn't either, consider fiberglass bedsides as cheaper to replace maybe?
