Bed rack for rooftop tent and tonneau

I’m liking the kB voodoo rack anyone using it? Like the idea of freeing up my builtright of rotopax etc.

That rhino system looks pretty stout as well.

Raptor owners are some of our biggest customers. Not much traffic on this site.

We started out as a Tacoma company, but in the last few years we've branched out heavily to all makes and models of trucks (except the Ridgeline).

I might pick up a Raptor this year so I can market more to the Ford crowd and get some good pics.

We don't get a lot of good pictures from customers, unfortunately. Usually it's just a pic of a truck in a parking lot, which isn't great for the website.

I have been looking at your products. I love the idea of running a bed rack that does not require me to cut on my tonneau cover. However, I am somewhat skeptical of the set up being robust enough to withstand adequate off-road use. The arms of the rack that attach to the bed rails look pretty thin. I am sure they are strong. But having a 200-300 lb RTT rest on the rack as I bomb through trails would be a torture test to say the least. The last thing I want to happen is to have my $3-5 thousand RTT to go flying off my bed because an arm on the rack fails.

This video demonstrates my concern:
I am not trying to belittle your products. I just have concerns that I would like to get your take on. Thanks for joining the forum and reaching out to us Raptor owners! The Raptor is the perfect overland vehicle. I have been to the Article Circle twice in a Raptor and have traveled most of North America in one.

The only thing holding me back from buying a set up is lack of raptor peeps having one and the fit on the backflip for a RTT. I have been in the weeds waiting...lol

I like what I see on the tundra. How much height will the mounts add to the rack? I am in between the 10” and 14” and would like to keep it below cab height with RTT but still be able to see out of the back.

Would love to not have to run a cover but people like to get to damn handsy and I have a lot of recovery gear etc in the bed

WOW!! I don't know who made the rack in that video, but I'm glad it's not ours. lol

We have over a thousand racks in the field with our tonneau brackets without a single failure.

Our new MAX Modular tonneau brackets are even more stout than our old ones. I don't think you would have any issues.

Good news!! Our racks will work with BakFlip covers.

The tonneau brackets add 2.5". The 10" rack with tonneau brackets will allow pretty good rearward visibility and put the top of your tent about flush with the top of the cab.

The 14" rack will provide even better visibility and allow more room to mount accessories.
