I haven't driven or even seen any Edge STs but I've owned a 2014 Focus St and just bought a 2014 Fiesta ST a few weeks ago as a commuter. Personally i'd take the Trackhawk over the Edge everyday of the week but as you pointed out you can't really beat the performance per dollar of the STs.
My dealer had 1 and sold it. 2 more recently came in. I like the look of them, but want something bigger than an Edge. I almost bought one in 07 when they were a new model, but bought the MKX version instead.

They half assed it. It is not a true ST like the Focus ST is. I would get a current Explorer Sport, or hold out for an Explorer ST. The Explorer ST will still be a half assed ST, but better than the Edge.

I got one for my wife about a week ago so there not a lot of miles on it yet. She loves it, the looks inside and out and the way it drives. I think the bolstering on the seat is to aggressive but I like the way it feels going around corners. The pricing is pretty good too since you can get rebates and negotiate selling price.IMG_20181227_170716.jpg

I'd second the Grand Cherokee SRT. Unless money is absolutely no object in your situation I can't see laying out the amount of $$$ they want for a trackhawk. You might also look at the Durango SRT as they look a lot meaner than the Jeep SRT IMHO, same performance and an extra row.

We have an '18 Durango R/T in the stable and absolutely love it. I can only imagine how good the SRT is.
