I keep hearing about ones not getting orders picked up by ford and waiting to get a vin# and so forth.
It has to be stressful!
So i have added my ordering info and process time this my help. I have realized most of the problem come from a dealer not being forth right!
My Dealer is SHEEHY FORD in Ashland Virginia.
They worked with me on the price $3300 off of Msrp.
I asked do you have an allocation. They said yes. I said lets order it and i need to see the order sheet when we are done. I want to see my priority # my # was a 10 thats good! Must be a special order or at least a retail order with in the #5__ _ _ _ this was on friday. Then when thursday came around the ford order bank pulled it. I got from my dealer an updater vehicle order confirmation paper showing info.
It was ordered on 11/2/2018 with Dealer. The order was picked up by ford order bank on Nov 8th a thursday just like ones said that is the day ford pulls orders! Then at the end of Nov i recived my vin #. Then on December 12 i recived my window sticker. I saw my blend date at the top of the window sticker saying Dec 18 2018. So i called ford PF on Dec 19. They said the truck was just finished being built and is waiting to ship! Sitting on Ramp R.
Just got confirmation it will be here on Jan 4 2019 !!

Hope this helps. This is how it should good, if all materials arw at the factory and if your dealer has an allocation and dealer gives you a priority of a 10 or less.
