GEN 2 Camper Shell ideas needed

I currently run a tonneau with a RTT mounted above it but I'm always thinking about getting an ARE Cap instead. Besides my concern with mounting an RTT on top of a Cap I'm worried about a Caps ability to withstand the abuse I give the truck. Sometimes my foot forgets about somewhat fragile bed contents while I go flying over whoops.

It's also impossible for me to fit a 37" tire in spare location because I run Toyo, so much of my bed space is wasted on the spare, maybe an aired down BFG would fit but it would be tight.

Just installed an ARE MX Series.

If i can get off the fence on the purchase, I will be looking at the AT habitat down the road. Not a topper, but we miss our roof top tent. This is an upgraded version of that I would leave on year round. Just wanted to share another option.

I use a kodiak bed tent. It’s made of a nice soft cotton canvas.

I really like the setup of this Raptor. Very similar to what I am going for if I get one. Anyone know where I can find more info on that specific Raptor? Went to the raptor addiction Instagram but didn’t find a link to more info.

I’ve been on the fence of getting a Raptor to build into an overland vehicle or getting an AEV Prospector. This Raptor might help persuade me

Pretty sweet looking Raptor. Don't think it would take a ton of mods to get that build for yourself.. lift (maybe even just a leveling kit) wheels and tires.. looks like they got rid of the step as well... maybe added AMP Research electric steps. But the tent part at the back is easy. There are numerous options that can get that same tent setup depending on what you want to spend.
