What did u do to your raptor today?

Took the truck over to KHC this morning to have new shoes put on, Nitto Ridge Grapplers, Big thanks to @khcdave and the crew for squeezing me in to get it done.

Welp i started this install, I'll finish it up in the morning. One bit of good news is it doesn't matter who installs (me included) this thing has a 3 year unlimited mileage warranty [emoji106][emoji2534]

I finally figured out where my coolant was going. I got decoyed by evidence under the driver side rear of the engine, but it turned out to be a failed thermostat housing O-ring seal. I should have invested in O-rings back in the day, because if I had I'd be filthy rich. Ford dealership charged $8.82 for part number F1VY-8255-A.

Warning: Auto Zone has two part numbers for the 6.2L thermostat O-ring seal and neither of them will provide a leak-free seal.

Nice that you found it and an inexpensive part. I recently had my thermostat replaced under warranty when they replaced the head gasket on the driver side so hopefully it will last me another 70k miles.

Not really what did i do today but more what have i done the past two weeks. I put red vinyl behind the svt, painted my tips black, mounted my venomrex wheels on my fuel tires, made a custom inlay for the wheels to match the svt and put on the Texas ford decal.

Learned, actually remembered, and important lesson. Heat creates resistance. Got a wrench after installing my new transmission and this was the code "P0742 OBD-II Trouble Code: Torque Converter Clutch Circuit Stuck On"
The transmission harness's clip on the backside of the engine was broken and the harness was sitting against the exhaust manifold. The wires didn't melt because of the heat shield wrap, but the wires got hot, I'm sure really hot. Anyways i ziptied the harness and she is shifting like butter now and no codes

Snoball pre last week!

New Dr axle & IWE, F&R diffs & Transfer case fluid changed, oil changed all other maintance done.

Next week new KO2s on a set of OE beadlocks & install GJ motorsports third brake light.

Installed a khc bumper! Sorry no installed pics yet cause it was dark when I got done.

Noticed another scratch courtesy of the dealer on my new 1000 mile 18. Thread is dealer fail.
