I can hear it in any car that keeps them sideways like that unless they are 100% full. Every expansion joint has a tiny jingle/tink sound to it. My '00 F150 had the best coin holder I've ever seen, by far. Spring loaded and removable from the console, it was the bomb.

I use spare change to pelt transients with. I get a kick out of it, they love it. It’s a win-win but so live in Austin so I’m out of change now.
