Sirius radio reception

I’ve had my 2018 (802A) for about two weeks and I love the truck. It seems like I briefly (few seconds) lose reception frequently. My previous vehicles would do this rarely if the view to the sky was obstructed IE trees. This is happening in wide open places. Anyone having the same issue? Is there a fix?

I don’t have the issue. Like your other vehicles, Lucille will drop satellite in rare, obvious conditions. I’d suggest a dealer visit.

F-150s are known for bad Sirius antennas. Especially if you’re in the north. The dealer will not help you.

I understand how satellite radio works, but to save my life, I can't explain why I have a dropout in the same place on the road which is on an upper section of the highway with nothing above but blue sky.

Maybe it’s just an F-150/Raptor thing, I’ll get used to it.

Get to a clear location outside and refresh/re-send the Sirius radio signal. Sometimes this works to re-orient/lock in the signal...used to happen periodically on my wife's Mercedes.
