2014 Raptor. Anybody else’s rear defroster not turning on? The light on the button doesn’t light up either. The rear slider works fine though???

Someone probably unplugged it to keep it from exploding. Search the fourm there is a known issue with the gen1 rear defroster and the smart solution is to disconnect it to prevent the auto start from turning it on.

Mine is not turning on because I disconnected from the rear glass. In your case I would still look why is not turning on and make sure that your mirror heat still works. The mirror heat is great during rainy or misty days. Good luck

Just this weekend I noticed the same thing. Rear defroster doesn't work and light on the center console doesn't even turn on. Let me know what you find.

How did you disconnect the rear glass? I'd like to do this so at least my mirrors will work.

I did the same; laid down the back seats (have the key rings and paracord latch pulls until I get around to getting Builtrite), pull the carpet padding looking stuff back and you'll see a connector at the bottom outside corner on each side; unplug and tape off...now you got me wondering if I missed one for the center slider or if it's powered from (as I suspect) the passenger side...
