Teraflex mud flap kit

I've been thinking of ways to mount front mud flaps, with the methods and nittos I keep rubbing the inner fender and knocking them off. Does anyone think I could mount these to the frame in front of the side steps ?https://teraflex.com/shop_items/528ffa7fead962f416e72f78

I am unsure how the teraflex ones work, but I ran a set of Husky kickback mudflaps on my F250; they place the flap an inch rearward so that the tires won’t rub.
