I was debating between RR and LF myself. I went with LF, not so much because I liked it better but because RR builds were delayed. I still don't now which one I like better. Everytime I see an RR I think its a great color with great contrast combined with the body cladding. You can't go wrong with either one IMO.

If it were me, and had both right in front of me to pick, it would be a very hard choice. If one saved me $4500 it would be a much easier decision. But again, that's me.

Hey FRF, finally able to get into a Raptor, and want to take advantage of the great deals out.

Ive come across a 2018, screw, pretty much even option I could ask for minus carbon fiber package. Sticker of almost $73,000. I am able to purchase it for $1,100 BELOW invoice. ($65,800 +++)

Heres the kicker, my heart was set on Lead foot, but this is Ruby Red, which I do like, but the closest optioned Lead foot I could find price wise is 4,500 more than the Ruby Red one.

I know colors are VERY subjective, but looking for advise. Thanks!

I mean, nobody’s asked... so I will.

Color is important to most, I knew I wanted white with no decals. Dealer 10 miles away wanted $20k over msrp. I was able to find one in another state for MSRP and get some lights and things put on it right away and it was a fun 4500 mile road trip home. Get what you want.

Well I would say it’ gonna be Hard to pass and 18 up at that price! Color is strictly preference. I’m waiting on a magnetic. The only true colors that I would choose after the magnetic and it would be tough, would be the ruby red and then the white. A friend of mine in Austin just got the ruby red, before I ordered my magnetic. And I have to say it dresses that truck up nice. When he had it at a hotel we were at people commented that that ruby red was just really good looking on the truck. I have to agree

Ruby red is a great color esp with bronze wheels. Save the money, buy upgrades and wrap it the color you want

New to the Raptor world however my thoughts are sounds like you like the Leadfoot color more. From looking at different forums to me seems this is a more sought after color so when you go to sell if PP would think you could get more money. The other thing no matter what it’s a big purchase and in the big picture the difference is not that much especially if you second guess yourself after the purchase. What would financing the difference be $30-$50 more a month? If it were me I would just go to other dealer use the RR one as negotiation and ask to match price or at least split the difference. Reguardless what you decide think you will love the truck!

I really wanted a magnetic but found a great deal ($10k less) on a loaded lighting blue so I went with it. I wasn’t even considering lighting blue but I love it now.

I had to do a double take at the miles. A raptor is the perfect vehicle for road tripping the ALCAN.
