I know it has been discussed that the dealer can see if a tune has been installed. Can they see the date that the tune was installed or just that one was installed?

My understanding is the same, but it is just based on comments provided in other posts. I believe one member of the forum resolved the dealer's concern by stating that he disconnected the battery for a period of time so he could install fog lights. I am not 100% sure, but it sounds like that also causes everything to be reset just like reinstalling the stock tune.

Yes they can. Whether or not they decide it's worth digging deep and spending time on to figure out depends on the size of the warranty claim.

New motor - they will look.

New PCV valve - unlikely.

Your response may be correct, but it conflicts with what other people have posted. As stated above, other people claim that they can only see that your truck has been flashed when reinstalling the stock tune, but that is it. What other evidence is specifically left behind? Do log files remain showing increased boost and timing that are different than stock? Only reply if you definitively know the answer.

I believe it was my post. Mechanic saw computer was reset, asked if I had a tune, said I didn't. I did say I disconnected the battery to work on off road lights....if they're really looking for tune, they will see it.

They can also look at the ignition cycle count, every time you re-flash the ECM it resets the cycle count.

I know that the Shelby raptors are using the whipple tune/ ford performance, with full factory warranty. The test of time will be what tune last longer, whipple or MPT OR ? . By now someone with a 2017 should have 50,000 miles or more. WAITING TO HEAR FROM SOMEBODY!!

Can we buy the Shelby power package without all the other crap that comes with their truck? Available through a dealer for warranty coverage?
