So how did you wrap your hood graphic? I'm about to 3/4 wrap my hood with suntek up to the hood vent and I have the hood graphic. I tried a test piece around the hood graphic and its leaves a small line around the edge. I'm probably just going to wrap over the graphic with suntek gloss.

my installer laid clear over the entire hood and didn't like the way the hood graphics were no longer matte. he said it didn't look as aggressive anymore. So he called me and asked if it were okay to cut/trim the pieces over the oem hood graphics. Then he laid the stealth/matte over oem hood graphics and trimmed them.

so no.... he didn't have to reapply the hood graphics. it was just a two step process. And he didn't charge me any more for the extra work. he said that he knew how expensive the oem graphics are since he was in the market for a new raptor as well. And he wanted to provide complete protection to the hood and graphics themselves.

Guys are here now and I'm getting nervous they don't seem to have a lot of experience so I'm actually thinking about stopping them ? Their having a hard time getting material to do what it needs to lay flat in some areas !

Well the guy just finished up I guess I'm not sure out of lack of knowledge and experience with this situation to make a educated comment. I would say it looks very difficult with the complex nature of the front end but imo someone with a lot of experience would have done it much quicker and better ? Oh well it will do what it's supposed to do I guess that's the most important part I just want to get the mud flaps on and give this thing a workout in some dirt !

Hey do you have any photos of your hood? I never seen anyone inlay matte next to gloss. I was thinking of ppf knife tape around the decal but people say the edge is not real clean.

Looks good. Hope you don't have to get it redone. Problem is if you trim the edge you run the risk of it lifting.

Raptor hoods are difficult to install due to the pockets on both sides. If you dont stretch it from side to side, the pockets are hard to lay down. Also, raptor hoods have very little edge to wrap since its composite. If you wrap the hood you have 2 choices, pull past the 2nd edge and have a gap after it or trim it where the 2 pieces meet which leaves little room for the adhesive to stick. If i get a good tack, I'm trimmings mine close to the edge and hope for the best.
