Nick and Fordloco...you are sending out misinformation.

Nick...the aux wire sizes are very small. See the cut and paste below.

Fordloco...The 2018 supplement has wrong color info.

This is from two other threads:

Adding to the knowledge base:

2018 Colors
Aux 1 - Green/White - 15A, 20 awg
Aux 2 - Brown/Blue - 15A, 20 awg
Aux 3 - Gray/Yellow - 10A, 20 awg
Aux 4 - Green/Yellow - 10A, 20 awg
Aux 5 - Brown/White - 5A, 22/24 awg
Aux 6 - Green/Orange - 5A, 22/24 awg

Incorrect, Ford is posting FALSE INFORMATION, better contact them quick and tell em stop posting FAKE NEWS!

Nothing wrong with the Taco that a complete re-design and major improvements won't help.

Start with the seating position - the friggin' seats are low on the floor (hence the "slim look" to the side profile of the Taco) so as long as you like sitting/driving with your legs straight out in front of you you'll love it.

It's an old, old truck that looks strangely enough like a baby Raptor from the front and back. I wonder why

Tacoma manual in the V6 is a 6 speed and so is the automatic. I traded a 2017 platinum tundra for my Raptor and like the Raptor way more. But I will say, I was way more confident in the drive train of the tundra. It’s been around for 11 years, has great throttle response, strong reliability, is super smooth and sounds better. The Raptor just is and feels way cooler hands down.

same. came from a 16 tundra trd pro. i never had to worry about the drivetrain or leaving me stranded ever. the raptor has all the bells and whistles for sure, but reliability is something the raptor is not keen on.

I was a tech for Toyota, and later Lexus, for 10 years before I started working for Tesla. I worked on many Tacoma’s and Tubdras and only ever drove Toyota trucks. I had a Tacoma, a Tundra, and an FJ cruiser. All were great, solid vehicles that never left me stranded. Once I was finally able to get my raptor I really got to appreciate how great of a truck it is. Honestly to me it’s personal preference, and brand loyalty. Both companies are great. Toyota just hadn’t tried to make anything that performs like a raptor. And I’m surprised about all the Tundra hate. I feel like most people on this forum wouldn’t act like that twords Tundras. Not all like/want one but I think most can appreciate how great of a truck the Tundra is. Even if it’s not a raptor :p

I love my wife’s 17 4Runner and our 07 FJ cruiser. Both great cars that I’ll never get rid of.
