Has anyone tried putting the light actuator switch into one the aux switches in the truck? I really don't want to install an additional switch inside the cab.

Hi. I just installed the Super Bumper (http://superbumper.com/) on my truck. I like it. Easy to install, no rattle and it does not affect the rear sensors.

I purchased the retractable light bar mount to go with it, but took it off due to the type of light bar I put on there. The BD light is way too deep, so when it retracts, the bar is still poking above the the roof line. If you're thinking about this spart bar + the retractable option, I can save you a ton on the retractable bit....

Someone likely will at some point. Some can't resist almost being in your back seat at a light and may not notice that bar sticking so far out.

That is definitely annoying, but my latest pet peeve are those who leave as much as three or more car lengths between between them and the car in front of them at a light. Can somebody help me understand why they do this? Turn lanes aren't designed to leave this much room and a turn lane that could accommodate ten cars can now only hold three and the rest of the cars are blocking traffic in the primary lane creating all kinds of safety issues. I never noticed this practice until several years ago and the reason still mystifies me. Nobody needs to leave that much room in front of them to prevent themselves from being pushed into a car if rear ended. When I learned to drive a long time ago, I was told to leave just enough room so that you can see the bottom of the car tires in front of you. I appreciate that this distance will change based on your height, length of hood, etc..., but it generally meant that you should only leave about 3/4 to one car length. This gives you plenty of distance to change lanes if needed without backing up, you won't get pushed into the car in front of you unless you are completely bashed from behind, and you aren't creating other traffic flow issues. Thoughts?

Must be an Ohio thing....everyone here in Denver is alert, not vaping weed, texting, or letting their new auto-driving tech do the driving. Traffic here is a dream.

A variation I notice is a car stopped at a light, nobody in front of them and they're 1-2 car lengths back from the crosswalk.
