Hey, I recently hooked up my Waylens Horizon camera to my AUX6 switch and noticed now my FM radio reception absolutely sucks. I am having Sync3 issues that the dealer will replace my APIM tomorrow so I assumed it was that.

I went to the grocery store and shut the truck off and the aux switch shuts off but the radio instantly becomes clear again. It was then I realized it was the camera interfering for some reason. I turned the truck back on and it got fuzzy. Flipping the switch off makes it clear again.

I had this camera in my truck before when it was plugged in via the 12v socket and it was fine. I used to own a 2016 Mustang and it was fine in that car too.

Any ideas?

My guess is that it isn't the aux switch causing the interference but the camera itself. Easily tested by plugging the camera into the cigarette lighter port. If you still get interference, get a different camera.

No interference when camera was through the 12v port.

Must be my ground then. I slipped it under a bolt with a huge washer or head behind the glove box along the metal there. I will relocate it to see if that makes it better.
