So I finalized all my choices after doing research for the last 6 months. I did alot of reading and wanted to get around 10k miles on my truck before I started to modify it.

Had one electronic issue where my Phone would not pick up the bluetooth and I had the Oil pan leak. Both were fixed by the dealer but these were things I wanted to show face before I started to modify the truck.

My initial build starts with Gear Head Tuning. After doing alot of research and reading on Larz the tuner I had nothing other then positive feedback on him.

Intial parts for the build:

Gearhead Tuning
Gearhead Preferred Spark Plugs
Mishimoto FMIC
SPD Turbo Adapters
SPD Catless Downpipes

I did not choose to add an exhaust because the raptor already has a full 3 inch dual piping to the rear which in my opinion would give plenty of flow. The goal of this build was to give a consistent daily driver build that had a sleeper status from the outside but enough grunt to make it actually sound like a truck which IMHO doesn't sound like one from the factory.

The Mishimoto FMIC retains the stock location and I also bought in black, I didn't want a big blaring "hey look at me" fmic.

The adapters and catless downpipes will give it the turbo spool sound I was looking for. also after alot of research I found the combo of downpipes with the stock catback exhaust gave it a nice sounding exhaust.

I have had many other builds in the past to name of the few recent was a Porsche Turbo Build that was 1300hp, a Mk4 R32 800hp and have a White Audi R8 V10 with full carbon packages and modified.

The plan down the line is for a consistent build in the 7-800hp range with a built motor and reinforcing drive train if need be. I will first enjoy the parts and Tune now and I will be posting videos and photos as it comes along. I will report back but just wanted to make my initial thread on here.

Good news and bad news......

Good new is the install is going down.

Bad news the guy who runs and owns the dyne next door is away at a cart racing event with his son, he is a one man show so no one at the shop for before and after numbers.

I will get up videos of the exhaust note and review of the 93 octane tune and then E30.

Did you notice a difference with the SPD Turbo adapters? They claim 21+ RWHP? I just installed a KOOKS green catted down pipe and wish I would of seen them before I did :/

Great info, I’m in the research phase for mine. Most likely going in the same direction as yours. Looking forward to see your progress.
