I currently have the Ford folding hard cover. I want to change to something where I can mount my bicycles on top and have full use of the bed for gear and luggage. The Undercover Ridgelander looks outstanding. Anyone have experience? Especially transporting road bicycles specifically?

I’d like to carry 4 bikes simultaneously and I think this should work well with their fork mount kit. I’m not so sure the frame mount kit wou,d allow for 4 on the rack at once however.

Thanks all.

I know some guys have an Undercover tonneau and haven't heard any complaints from them. Another option for you is the Bakflip CS. You can also add a bike rack on it.

Take a look at my instagram and you’ll see plenty of pics of my truck with the Ridgelander cover. It’s pretty damn great. I wouldn’t change it out for anything else out there. The only thing I would recommend is to swap out the gas struts. The ones it comes with are 45lb and I changed them to 90lb struts (to acomódate for the rack on there). It’s a super easy swap and if you get them before you mount the cover you just snap those on instead of the stock ones that it comes with. If you get the cover let me know and I can send you a link to the exact struts I bought.

If you staggered the bikes with two facing back and 2 facing forward I can’t see why they wouldn’t fit.

There’s tons of accessories for it as well. The track system for the cover and for the rhino rack platform racks give a lot of flexibility as well. I even mounted a set of Rigid Ignite lights and wired it to an up fitter switch inside.

So yeah.....I like mine [emoji6]

GM3SF, great setup! Thanks for the details. I did finally order along with 4 fork mount bike racks. I’d love to order the 90lb struts if you wouldn’t mind sharing that link.
