Has anyone used a sled deck on their Raptor? Also what do you guys like for snowmobile trailers, I'm looking for something that would fit in my garage, 103.5" wide.

I would NOT use a sled deck on a raptor. You are going to go over the rated capacity and the rear suspension will not support the weight as it is too soft.

What he said ^. Raptors don't have a lot of bed carrying capacity. You mentions sled(S), as in plural. 1 sled might be ok on a deck, but multiple? Probably not. Trailer is more versatile anyway.

I tow a 2 place Neuman sled bed behind mine. Converted it so it can also handle a side by side. No issues .

It tows great. The sled bed trailer probably weighs 1000 lbs max, then the side by side is about 1100 with all the fuel and goodies. That's pretty close to what 2 snowmobiles weigh. So 2200 lbs is really pretty easy for this. No squatting. I have the pro trailer backup assist but rarely use it as it actually will confuse me as I am just used to backing up a trailer the old fashioned way.

Just found this thread. I am looking to transport my Timbersled LT. Its way too long for the bed without some sort of decking but I am really trying to avoid a trailer for a few reasons.

1) I would have to store it miles away (without the Timbersled in it) which makes it a huge pain for just loading up and going for the unexpected big snow days. Also this would be the only reason I need the trailer.

2) It gets super crowded in the PNW at the few spots to park. Having just the truck makes it so much easier to wedge into a spot and unload. Especially with something as capable as the Raptor. Having the trailer adds length and kills maneuverability.

3) In really icy and cruddy roads would love to be unburdened by a trailer. Safer rolling trailer free especially braking.

Has anyone seen/found some type of in bed deck that extends the length that would work for a Raptor. Timbersled is almost 11 feet long.
