I was just at Advantage Ford in Duarte Ca and they wanted $15k market adjustment on a Leadfoot Screw. The GT350 there only had a $7500 mark up.

Calif dealers are just so greedy - because there's enough knuckleheads that will pay their crazy add-ons to MSRP.
Here's to the knuckleheads that fufill salesmen's dreams.

In my hunt over the last couple of months here are some dealers discounting:

https://www.victoryfordonline.com/n...-150&saveFacetState=true&lastFacetInteracted=

http://www.jeffbelzer.com/new-ford-...racted=inventory-listing1-facet-anchor-trim-3

https://www.graydanielsford.com/all...e=&make=Ford&model=F-150&lastFacetInteracted=

http://www.akinsford.com/new-cars-w...150&trim[]=Raptor&sf=sf_make,sf_model,sf_trim

https://www.samscismford.net/new/Fo...e71d7dc07c1d62256e.htm?mycarsr=vdp-recentCars (I saw this one at $5180 under MSRP)

There are others and they pop up almost daily. I see most by setting up alerts on Cars.com or cargurus. I've also talked to a handful of dealers who don't advertise discounts but they are willing to offer discounts. My recommendation is to look for older "blend dates" on the window sticker as there will be more motivation to move the older inventory. They do seem to move quickly once the discount is advertised. Most are in the midwest or south, which has presented trouble for me since I'm in California. I ignored most that were on the east coast. Bottom line, if you are willing to go out of state you will find some good discounts. For those of us in CA, this is a no-brainer.

Would I buy a raptor over MSRP? No, I dont have that kind of cash.

Do I understand why we sell raptors over MSRP? Yep.

We get the most raptor allocations out of any dealer in the world, and they all sell over MSRP. Why? Because in our local automotive economy our customer dont bat an eye at paying over MSRP. Every cool car has ADM attached to it. I have one customer that paid 80k over sticker on a G550 4x4^2 and another that paid 50K over on a new 911.

ADM is normal and expected in the LA area. Hell, even the local side x side dealers sell can am's with mark up.

I'd say half of the raptors we sell end up in my hands post sale and the customers that just paid over sticker on their raptors are sinking at least another 10k into them.

I used to wonder how these salesmen sleep at night but then GREED is the American way, or at least the CALIF way. Adding ADM on 2018s seems like overkill at this late date. Heck, I've seen 2017s being marketed at over original MSRP with 20K miles on them!
Las Vegas is no different.
Arizona has one dealer that makes sense but low on inventory.
GALPIN in Shermon Oaks is the worst, IMHO.

BUT - who cares! You either buy it or not!

It's hard to be critical of dealers who charge ADM when there is a large pool of customers willing to pay the premium. Standard supply and demand. If you want to blame anyone it should fall on Ford for not producing enough to match demand. I tried to buy a used Raptor in SoCal with 1400 miles on it. Guy bought it and traded it 3 months later on a Porsche Cayman. The dealer selling the used Raptor got $2K over MSRP after multiple offer over MSRP. For those of us who want a Raptor and can't afford the markup we just need to look in the right places.
