That makes sense, if your back tires get air and you turn your wheel slightly you could get enough yaw that you'd have a hairy landing.. interesting. I wonder if live valve would help with that... absorb the bump vs being too stiff and letting the back end get airborne

I saw that video too. He's owned a RAM and Tacoma so he's not new to trucks but sounds like he got airborne and landed funky. LOL!

This is real. This is one of the reasons why people install deavers. The deavers help stabilize the back. Hotlap said he experienced this on his drive back to California.
This issue is one of the reasons why I decided to wait for a 2019. I'll get deavers if the new shocks don't help.

I have had one issue on the freeway similar to this. Slight turn in the road, rear end got a little unsettled. This was within a month of having the truck, freaked me out a bit. I can not wait to see how the new shocks might help the truck. I talked to a engineer three weeks back and mentioned deavers. He knew exactly what I was talking about, he just smiled. He is the one who signs off on suspension testing. I could not get much info out of him regarding a coil / new leafs for the future. Nice guy though.

So it seems Deavers is a rabbit hole of sorts. Planned on leaving ride height stock to fit in my garage but Deavers +3 in the rear minus blocks means +1 inch overall lift. With factory rake I would have to lift the front at least 1" to look normal and if I'm gonna do that I may as well lift it 2.5" to level it out.....

Hopefully it's something that can be addressed with the new shocks but not holding my breath.

Considering that the truck is made to go really fast over bumps seems odd. Sounds like the tires are way overinflated. Try lowering the tire pressure, I run 36 front 34 rear and I can’t even feel any bumps. Raptor can’t take bumps haha.

Do you guys know if getting deavers installed can be used to void your warranty?

I asked last time and no one knew.
No problems for me so far. If I have leaf spring issues then I’m sure I’m on my own.
