Raptor Assault - Where to stay?

I'm attending the Raptor Assault course in November. I'm debating if I should stay in Salt Lake or Tooele. I will have a little free time, but not much as I'm not staying long in Utah. Thoughts?

Stay in Park City if you want to do anything above and beyond simply attending the class. I stayed in SLC and was bored out of my mind. Tooele is not any better, maybe worse if you're looking for entertainment.

I stayed in Park City when I went in August, and I had a great time. Park City is about 6o miles away from the school, but it’s an easy drive and Park City has quite a bit of entertainment.

I wasn’t happy with the Tooele place, it was loud as you know what. Convenient, but loud.

Others recommended Park City to me when I asked as well. I am also going in November, but had already booked SLC on a non-refundable rate so that's where we will be staying. My wife is planning to spend the day at the spa, so should be fine. We are staying at the Grand America hotel.

Stayed at the Holiday Inn Express 10 mins from the course. It was fine for 1 night. Brewery/restaurant right next door.

I stayed in the lower part of SLC and it was ******. As you go up in elevation, it gets nicer.

I hiked they area up on the the tall hill and it was pretty cool

I'll be there for "Track Attack" (GT350 driving class) in early Nov. and am staying in the Comfort Inn in Tooele. Will likely drive the Raptor over and after class head out to Moab, Bryce and Zion Canyons...still trying to decide if the weather will be OK or not. Then next Spring I'll be back for Raptor School!

Look for a Magnetic 2018 with CA plates (black and yellow) and be sure and introduce yourselves. I'll be there evening of Nov. 6th and possibly the 7th...

I stayed there as well. Food and brews were decent at the Brewery. The wife and I spend a couple hours in SLC and really nothing to do there.
