How's that Captain Knowledge??:mwah1:

Making passive aggressive comments with a :flipthebird: shows your TRUE Person...which even if my knowledge is wrong or debatable, you being a ****** is not.

Oh, in that case, your knowledge is wrong. In an N/A vehicle, back pressure/exhaust scavenging is important.

in a turbo vehicle, the most efficient form is nothing on the exit of the hot side. All else is simply restriction.

You are correct...not that you didn't know that...but I double checked with my buddy and sure enough I misspoke so my bad there...

Just 2 ways to go about point it out is all, but again, my bad on the Back Pressure comment.

Does anyone have the measurement for the smallest tube diameter on the down pipe and the smallest tube diameter on the rest of the exhaust?

Once again, the pipe diameter after the first ~4-6 feet from the turbo isn't as critical. The gasses are slowing and cooling a bit by then, so the max diameter can actually be quite a bit smaller, say from 3" down to 2.5" without costing any power.

No worries! I just get frustrated by misinformation!!!!

Next time I read someone commenting how they get a stiffer ride from pre-load collars, my head might explode.....

Guys that come from NA vehicles always fail to comprehend this... This is why you see X pipes and H pipes on turbos cars, drives me nuts.

With progressive springs, this is quite possible though :D

I see a lot of old school thinking that just doesn't apply to modern and/or turbo vehicles.

in this very thread people are saying how CAI's don't lower the intake temp - no shit! That intake air is going through hot ass turbos first. Anyway, enough thread derailment.
