I think it looks good. Definitely gonna get haters tho.

I think you are underestimating the weight increase. I recall reading somewhere that someone did this and it added a few hundred pounds which was a huge percentage of the payload capability.

Yeah I've heard mixed reports on this. There was a truck at TRR 2017 that had this done, and I heard that they had problems with performance because the weight was adversely affecting their suspension performance. Never was able to get more detail than that, but that's what I heard.

Too much for my tastes, but I do not tend to scratch my truck up enough to warrant spending 5K to preserve it...

The truck was originally black so I left the door jams alone. The black ties in nicely and I was worried about wind noise if i line-x the door jams.

Maybe a dumb question but did they do the door openings and door inners?

5k is a lot of coin to spend on a truck that already has good paint. As much as I did it for durability I also did it for uniqueness. Black raptors seam to be a dime a dozen.

Just wait until your wife drives. I did nearly 300 miles at TRR last year, didn't scratch my truck once, my wife drives maybe 30 miles there and puts three nice long scratches down the passenger rear fender.

She was powersliding around a corner like a pro tho, so I can't complain too much. Especially since they all came out.
