Anyone had any luck getting Ford Dealer to work to reduce turbo lag and improve throttle response as a warranty repair issue?

I don't think you know what turbo lag is. Could you describe it and I'll explain what turbo lag actually is.

And the throttle response ford won't alter. That's part of the EPA controlled tune and cant be legally adjusted

Have you tried the throttle reset procedure? There are instructions floating around somewhere, but it is just cycling the ignition a few times and moving the gas pedal. The result is the new end parameters on the accelerator travel are relearned. In normal driving, the electronics sense the travel of day to day use and it thinks the travel is less than it is. This is a good reset to do monthly. The ecoboost is especially sensitive to this since it relies heavily on boost to get it to go anywhere.

FYI, rubbing your belly and patting your head while doing the above procedure unlocks 10 extra horsepower. But don't tell anyone because Ford engineers don't want this cheat code spreading.

You just need to make sure your turbo increaser is turned on. There's a button in the back passenger seat glove box.

I regretted not getting this option on my build. But after installing the electric turbo super charger, my regrets are a thing of the past.
