Replaced both front upper a arms (bab ball joints) and removed all shocks for a rebuild.

Shopped around for a good price on quality a arms. Oriellys had these and they look a but beefier than the factory ones. Very happy with them

How many miles on the originals? How much off-road time on them?

Thank God for the bumper to bumper warranty....picked up my truck at Ford yesterday. New sunroof track (second truck same problem), idler pulley and tensioner to the tune of $2140. Deductible $100. New power steering pump the local place I do business with "ate" my deductible. My in house warranty cost 4 years 48k miles in 2016 when I sold this ruck to myself was $1600. So far I had a $700 warranty repair done on telescopic steering motor last year plus this......worth it.

Not sure. i bought a salvage 2011 SCREW 92k miles with front-end damage. But from the looks of the underside of the pickup its CLEAN, the frame still has the clean black e-coating on it, no rust other than surface rust on the axels... in really good shape, but.... the front shocks were pretty pitted so maybe is saw some soft offroading. also, i just got the shocks rebuilt and 2 of the 4 were blown.

Got the fog lights installed and hooked up! Headlights are next......
