Offset for frnders

Well, today I learned. I didn't know they made -44 offset 17x10s...now I can bro down without offending the purists.

Thanks for the input Aaron. Each to their own I guess. I’m just a big fan of both these rigs.

If you do eventually go long travel (@RPG BOLT Kit) like the truck on the left you will need wheels with less offset and width or you'll stick out a mile. If you plan to keep OEM UCA and LCA's like the truck on the right you'll be fine with your original wheel choice 17x9/10 with the negative offset. Just something to keep in mind. Luckily you can run most 17x8.5 +00 wheels with the long travel kit so your options are endless.

Guys that are running longer a arms do they run diffrent offset wheels front and rear? Or are the rear fenders not as wide?

With all due respect

They won’t fit in a standard parking space and on a lot of highways you’ll be almost in the next lane.

It’s just not practical.

The proper way to do it would be to upgrade the rear axle with the proper width but I've seen plenty of truck with the longer arms run a stock rear axle. The Raptor axle is already 6-7" wider than standard so it not as bad as the guys who go full long travel on a non-raptor and leave the really narrow rear end.

While I also agree that true long travel would be the way to go for Deberti fenders I've seen one guy using 17x10 -44 with custom built Roti's. You can see more of his truck on IG @BAKeraptor

If you wanted a true beadlock we could do the Method MR106 17x9 -38 and it might look ok. But again, true long travel would be ideal for the monster fenders
From the looks of the width of the lip on those they kind of look more like a -24 than -44. Not saying you are wrong, but I'd expect a deeper lip on a -44 offset (eventhough it's only an inch more). Whatever it the offset is, I think that truck looks awesome!!!

It's that way because the wheel is only 10" wide. Most people associate -44 with 12" wide wheels which do have deeper lips due to the extra width.
