Any one else with Kings have their coils rubbing on the body spacer?

I know that’s what it’s there for, but it’s really loud and makes the truck sound so cheap.

Bad pick, but you can see kinda where it’s rubbing on the backside of the shock

I think that’s the issue. My spring bows slightly and is rubbing on the spacer .

I’m going to get ahold of king direct.

That's horrible hopefully they give you info on how to solve that issue. Wouldnt want to pay top $$ for a noisy product that is for sure!

I finally just heard a response today after I reminded them again.

Their solution is to turn the spring 90, 180, 270 to see where it doesn’t rub.

2. Remove the shock collar protector(not a fan of this idea)

3. Replace the spring.

So when I get back from Germany in a week I’ll mess with the spring and if it doesn’t fix it I’ll request a replacement coil.

Btw/ king also said this was normal. My truck sounds like it’s been in a field for 60 years.

in case anyone from King happens upon this thread...

this is why I opted to go with Fox for my needs. King should consider doing a bit better with the customer service for customers that drop $6K + with them.

Remove the shock collar protector? are you kidding me? what happens when the shock has issues because the protector wasnt on? pound sand? :pp:
