I have everything.

In 2017 variety.

No wrench issues, but I know exactly your problems because I had them with 5-Star.

Makes me wonder what changed on the 18s

Do you have adaptive cruise?

First time poster. i picked up an 18 Magnetic Raptor with Adaptive Cruise a few weeks ago and ordered the MPT Tunes. I got the same email as others a few days ago and decided to go and test with them. I knew from others here about the ACC issue but I don't use it and was willing to give them a shot.

I loaded 93 PR-X V2.2.1.0 which I was told that it was their most recent version. I've only driven about 50 miles but I am very satisfied with the tune. I've owned many 3.5s (2011,13,15 Platinums) with 5*, SSI, MPT, LET. It's hard to compare the Raptor with a Platinum with different tuners but i must say it feels just a quick as my 15 Plat with SSI.
The trans tuning is perfect. Before, I found myself using the paddles and shifting down quite a bit. Not anymore.

I did a couple of 5th gear pulls and sent MPT my logs. I saw 19 PSI reviewing the log. Looking forward to hearing from MPT and future revisions to the tune.

Hey Jay

The problem happens under acceleration going up hill in adaptive cruise.

Essentially, going along then head up a hill and boom, dies.

I’m glad I saw this thread because I’m also experiencing a similar problem with my MPT tune. Both instances I was merging onto the expressway, once slightly uphill, with light throttle pressure, and all of the sudden the truck shuddered and wrench light came on. Neither times I was using cruise control. Felt like the truck had no power and wouldn’t build any boost. On both instances no code would pull up on the nGauge, so I reset it back to stock tune and went on my way. It’s very frustrating because I love how the truck drives with the tune. Driving it with the stock tune feels so much slower. I do have the Whipple stage 1 kit purchased but I haven’t gotten around on installing the intercooler and intake. I’m leaning on running the Whipple tune and see if this problem ever returns with that tune.

I tried to duplicate the issue on my way to work this morning. ACC on 58 MPH up a slight grade on a two lane highway. Truck was in 10th. I could see on the boost gauge that boost was being applied. Trans stayed in 10th. I was waiting for it downshift or for something to go wrong. All was fine. On the next hill I slowed to 56. Still pulled thru.

So it could be that there wasn't enough of a strain for the problem to arise and the hill wasn't steep enough. I'll try again at a lower speed and RPM and see what happens.

Hey

Yes one time it happened without the cruise on to me as well. Also, the NGUAGE showed NO codes.

Guys, just making sure I understand the MPT Tunes here. You receive three separate tunes with the N-Gauge right? Since I live in Florida, my plan is to order the 93PR-X Tune (for Winter, cooler months), 91PR-X Tune (for Summer, hotter months), and then 91 Performance Tow - No Trans Tuning (for towing boat, Summer months). Is there such a Tune called 91PR-X Tune for 91 octane? Feedback please.
