The US has a disproportionate amount of gun violence. It's really not an arguable topic. But I'm sure you've realized this but your ignorance compels you to be blind to the facts. I'm definitely not anti American.

Statistics are what they are, and exist in a world of infinite other statistics. Do me a favor—when you encounter a statistic in the wild, don’t use it to validate your emotionally entrenched beliefs. Just back away slowly and continue your day.

You’d be better served just speaking for yourself. Try “I don’t like guns” or “I choose not to own guns.” I suspect nobody will argue with you.

The truth is that Americans have been the most free people in the history of the world for 241 years and it has always pissed some people off. If you think that such freedom is without consequences, then you don't understand life on Earth.
