That’s not a good deal - you will still lose your shorts.
Owners of 13/14 will enjoy the best resale value as they just don’t depreciate.

13/14 have depreciated more than 10% in the last 6 months. Early in the year they were selling for over $50k. Now guys asking $45 are having to lower the price even further because of lack of interest. Still stupid money for a used truck, but supply of G1s is going up as owners are upgrade to G2.

Not sure what your very apparent issue is with gen 2's, but you must not be privy to the current real world. The GM at my dealership told me that he was at an auction last month where a 17 with 21k miles sold for 2k over msrp. To me that is insane, but that is the real world right now.

Also, real world.... people are paying invoice on these and have been for a while. These are not investments, BUT, demand for a v6 problematic truck is really low in the resale world.

I'm in CT and have found a few at MSRP with one dealer promising lower prices in person. There are still a few around looking to cash in, 1 dealer in greenwich is asking 15K over msrp.

Why don’t you shut the hell up?!?!?! At first I thought you were a little quirky. But now I see that you really are “Sasquatch “. Please crawl back under your rock.

I believe it. After shopping around for a couple of months, the 2017s are still selling for higher than what MSRP initially was. Using historical context, this isn't anywhere near normal...

Dont worry Mcnawsty (aka Sasquatch), eventually G2 values will come down to where you can afford one.

The questions is.... will that be before or after the new engine you promised comes out. Any updates on that?
