According to the 18 appearance guide, ruby red is not available on raptor but I too heard t will be late availability. Not looking good for ruby fans...

I was going to hold out for Ruby Red, but the late availability at the time I ordered finalized my change to Lightning Blue.

I hope for the sake of those who did order RR it's just on hold for now.

It's on page 36 of the 2018 order guide, pretty explicit list of Raptor colors.

And the order guide for the 2017 listed the orange interior accent package as not available for Lightning Blue, yet it was available. Order guides are put together early and get updates. I'd be more willing to trust the appearance guide since it was released after the order guide until an updated order guide is released. Late availability or not, you'd think it would be on the build and price tool by now. While no one can yet confirm that it has been dropped, there is more evidence for it than against it.There are going to be some very sad people when they get confirmation that there will be no Ruby Red Raptor for 2018.

If you call Ford Performance, I bet they would answer your question right away.

Late availability can turn into no availability rather quickly.....

I bet if you call Ford Performance, you'll get to talk to a customer service rep that will give you an answer that is really just a guess like when they said the Ford Performance tune would be out in April.

I was talking Ford Regional Reps. Not the the guys from Ford Performance. I don't have access to my screenshots at the moment. But If you look on the configurator, the Raptor is still slated to get the Ecoboost V8. It has been updated since it's gone live and they still haven't fixed that. Meanwhile they quickly fixed the Mustangs grammatical error from "Active Value Exhaust to Active Valve Exhaust".
