Keep dreaming about a V8. Ringy Dingy Motors are what Ford is about now.. Just a simple fact. The Raptor is just another F150 option not even a SVT. Nope there will be no V8's.

You're a complete moron.

What about when you are broken on the trail? The inherent ecoboost design flaws have never been solved.

You should hang out on the MANY Jeep forums! They break down on the trails ALL THE TIME. I guess Jeeps have "inherent design flaws."

You know what happens when you break down on the trail? Your buddies (sorry, I know that's a concept you can't grasp since you obviously don't have any friends except the crickets in the basement) help you get home.

That's what off roading is all about - camaraderie with others who share the same interests in vehicles and adventures.

You're a complete moron.

Well just keep living in the little make believe world you live in. You are clueless what Ford has done over the last 15 years with the commitment $$$ to the ringy dingy motors.

Poor kid it is about many things in which your young little inexperienced mind has no grasp of. Some day you will understand if you are lucky. For now you just keep crapping yellow. I saw your post on leaf spring lol... Was the first to run the National 5 leaf on my truck plus many other mods.

There you go, herein ends the lesson.

Lots of hostility here, lol...

Here's my thoughts on the matter. I owned a 12' Raptor 6.2L, sold it after 4 years and bought a 16' F150 Limited with the 3.5L while waiting for the new Raptor. I now have the 17' Raptor...

This is the future people, whether you like it or not, V8's are going away unfortunately. It's all about efficiency and the environment now.

Do I miss my V8? Sure, maybe, I guess. But honestly this 3.5L tows better then my old 6.2L, and my new Raptor has way more power then my old Raptor. So whats not to like? Maybe it's a "man" thing, but the positive gains all around from old versus new can't be denied.

Times they are a changing...

Again, the point was missed. NOBODY is arguing that the ecoboost is fun to drive and quicker than the 6.2. The problem is that this 3.5 ecoboost platform has a horrendous history. Its inherent design flaws and lack of reliability just kill it.

Ford fixed any issues (if there was any)

The design and reliability are top notch.

They actually have not fixed the issues. The same 3.5 ecoboost engine issues are happening in the second generation ecoboost.
