Are you talking about the "V1connection" app mentioned on the Valentine1 page, or something else? I need to get my old daily driver V1 upgraded to the new guts, and probably just buy a second one for my raptor.

If your V1 is old like mine you can send it in and they'll sell you a new one at a big discount (about $100 off) which they call an upgrade. I call it great marketing and customer service!

True or if you have had your V1 for less than 2 years you can send it in and pay 79 dollars including shipping to get the new software update as the 2017 version.

Just purchased the blend mount for the V1 can't wait to install it in the Raptor.

My V1 is about 10 years old. Think its time for an update...still works great though.

I just sent my 4+ year old V1 in for upgrade, $99 including shipping. Had it back to me in less than a week. Now let's see if it will stop the incessant false alarms.

Sending in an older unit is usually pretty costly, something like $280 + shipping or thereabouts if it's been long enough. If you're a real cheapskate like me, you can just sell your old unit (should bring anywhere from $200-$300+ unless it's truly ancient) and then buy a new one from V1 for either $400 or $360 for a returned unit (you have to call and ask for this).

I've done this a couple times and saved about $100-$150 each time. But for the hassle, probably worth it to just ship your old unit to V1.

Yeah $299 was the quote for my old V1. Then they throw away your old one and just send you a brand new model. Agreed, it's kind of a wash between: ebaying your old one and buy new vs. factory upgrade.
