Has anyone been told expected delivery dates for 2018s?

I would prefer to have a 2018 to a 2017, but I have several leads now on local 2017s at MSRP. I need to buy a truck/put it in service this calendar year for Sec 179 purposes. I am worried that no one can commit to a delivery before 12/31/17 if I order, and I'm worried that any 2018s that do arrive prior to year end will be subject to the same dealer markups as the early 2017s.

Anybody got a lead on when actual deliveries will occur and/or opinions on waiting for a 2018 over getting at 2017 at MSRP now? TIA.

There's a dealer in missouri that twalsh posted about who has 2 2018 msrp coming in. lead foot and shadow black 802a's with slightly different options packages. The lead foot is being built 7/20, I'm not sure if I want it at the moment so feel free to pm.

Our first two allocation are already scheduled. One is due the middle of next month and the other is due the middle of September.

Ordinarily I would, but I deferred a good bit of income to 2017 in hopes the Trumper would lower my taxes. Not sure that's going to get done in 2017, either...lol. But, I need to do a 179 this calendar year for that reason.

I feel kinda dumb, because the only material difference is the B&O Play system vs. the Sony. Not sure that's worth the wait/risk.
