Way to handle intercooler condensate buildup problems in 3.5 ecoboost

Wouldn't a weep hole cause a boost leak? Seems like common sense.

The boost loss is very small and makes no impact. This has been proven to fix and prevent the problem.

There's only been ONE guy who's claimed to drill the hole on any truck from 2015 or newer, and he's a very new member on this forum

Just one out of the HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of EBs that have been sold since 2015

I've asked "Ray" to post a video of his truck then the hole - we'll see if he's real or not

Feel free to find anyone else besides "Ray" that has a 2015+ that has drilled the hole

I can't find a single one here nor at the much busier regular F150 forums

Heres a thought...maybe ford "fixed" it on the older ecoboost at lower power. Bump it up 70hp a couple changes here and there and hurry up to get it out for 2017 and boom the problem is back?
Just saying. I dont read ecoboost forums, i just read about the truck i own (and maybe the one i will own in the future)
I bet there are at least 20 who have a hesitation here and 1/2 dozen threads?

Fact- early ecos had issues

Unknown- did 15-16 ecos runs well and no hesitation?

Fact- several 17 raptor owners have reported hesitation

Fact- the guys who have nothing but trolling to contribute have a 17 with no problems

Could be any number of reasons a few people are having drivability issues, jumping to a conclusion that a hole needs to be drilled to resolve it is retarded, especially if this whole thing is being lead by some **** nut that doesn't even have a gen2 raptor. How about having just one of the "at least 20" people to drop their IC and see if there is any moisture first?

The IC is only $200? Sure about that?

I've dropped my stock intercooler there is no moisture just a little oil. I won't be drilling a hole in anything. I got my new PCM in Friday, going to have it programed "As built" after the 4th of that doesn't resolve the issue. I'm moving forward.

You realize that you won't find any moisture in the intercooler when you take it out to inspect, right? The moisture is only produced while driving and it always gets passed through the spark path. Your intercooler is building enough condensate to produce misfire. It is also eating away your spark plugs.

The weep hole WILL solve your problem- guaranteed.
