So, I kinda jumped the gun here and had these on order before I even had the truck.

So, I put em on. What's the worst that could happen? :D

so..... Cant leave nuthin alone.

so, lets take apart a 450 mile old truck, shall we?

Pretty much pop the tie rod, upper ball joint, sway bar and shove everything out of the way.

Everything can be done via fenders, no hood work at all.

These are big sunsabishes. Heavy too.

*NOTE* THE CHEAP ASS CRAPPY SPRING COMPRESSORS OF DEATH FROM THE PARTS HOUSE IS NOT GONNA PLAY BALL WITH THESE SPRINGS

My spring compressor was NOT Mr. Happy trying to compress the Eibachs.
*measured from bottom of 17" rim lip to edge of fender arch

There. That wasn't so bad lol

These Springs are noticeably stiffer than the stock ones on the spring compressor. To be honest, it was a little sketch compressing them.

Slapped em back in. Easy peasy.

Curiosity got the better of me, and I decided to weigh em. OK, so I wasn't imagining these things were heavier.

WOWZA It lifted the truck A LOT.

I drove it home like this to let everything settle in a bit, and I'll do an alignment on it tomorrow.

Initial thoughts. These have a higher spring rate than stock.
These are not soft like the factories.
I'm concerned fully compressed if they will exhibit coil bind.
These transmit a little more NVH into the truck.
Coming from a 3/4 ram, it rides smooth as glass :D

When Hooning, I wonder if coil bind will be an issue.
I can notice just pulling into my driveway they are stiffer.
I'll go fart around in the dirt this weekend maybe to see how it feels.

Nice! I have Geiser Bros springs on gen1 and had a similar experience. Rides a little stiffer than stock but off roads much better. Hopefully yours will too. Wish I had your Spring compressers, I consider myself lucky to have all my fingers!!!

Let me know how it goes off road with these springs. I have mine installed as well but haven't had a chance to get out in the dirt yet.

Ramped it out tonight. Rear end is doing all the work. Front end is damn near level.
Pulling the sway bar may be the next thing I do.

Played around offroad with it. It's nice, but stiffer.
I lowered my air pressure and it made a world of difference from the dealer's 50 to 35

the picture of the spring is on the drivers front when flexed out, FYI

I haven't gotten my hands on a set of these yet. The Outer Diameter looks larger also. If it is, can you measure it?
