I saw on another site where someone attempted to powder coat the rings electric blue, rings ended up matching the shocks, but were too bright for the blue truck, he was looking into ordering another set.

Has anyone just painted or powder coated their own? If my truck ever gets out of Ford service I might work on mine.

Since you're in DFW check out ARS Wheel Repair (LBJ & The Bush). They quoted me $125 per wheel to powder coat mine (that's total price each after mounting and balancing). They do need to keep your truck over night though but you're probably numb to that by now.

I'm sure most local shops can powder coat for around the same price to any color you want.

It's a Raptor thing. The stock Gen1 wheels didn't look that great either.
