I despise console shifters for automatics. Ridiculous waste of console space all so people can, what, pretend they have a stick? It's one of the few things I don't like about my truck.

I hate where M/Manual Mode is on the Raptor transmission. I'm used to hopping into a car, pulling the shifter all the way back and driving off in Drive. M/Manual should require a kick to the left like it does in most other cars with a manual mode. At least twice now I've driven off in M thinking I was actually in D, only to bump the rev limiter when the truck didn't shift.

Reminds me of my parents '88 Buick station wagon growing up. At least be creative and put a dial on the dash like the Ram. From years of driving nothing but manuals I drive left hand on the wheel, right hand on the shifter. Never had a need for two hands on the wheel outside a track and less than 100mph.
