If that 6.2 is derived from the LT1, I have that in my C7 where it comfortably makes 460/460. Very very good motor. Doesn't sound great and the DI pump is noisy, but with an x-pipe or cat-back system, it can be dealt with.

If I was in the market for just a large family hauler with some get up and go, the Tahoe might cut the mustard. I'd probably look closely at the Germans before going Chevy, but I'd definitely consider it.

Don't forget dodge is coming out with the Durango SRT for 2018. That could be a much more fun family hauler.

My Raptor is my first forced induction engine. I don't think I'm ever going back to naturally aspirated anything.

Big power will be much cheaper with a TT V6. Full bolt ons will likely run under 9 grand for the Raptor and could easily push this motor to 650 hp. I have a 2015 GTR and 700 hp can be had for around 10 grand. Lots of similarities actually between the two platforms. I love a good V8 but the current lump in the Raptor is light years ahead of the old 8 pot.

Love all these assumptions about engines makes me smile. Thanks for the laughs.[emoji23]

This Tahoe looks like a good people mover for sure.

Not impressed with that interior at all. Column shifter, really?

Only type of vehicle I will buy, aside from a stick shift.

Column shifters are where it's at for auto's.

**** those console shifts, and the apparently new trend, round gear selectors. wtf is that shit.
