Honestly I don't blame the dealer, but I think Ford should've stepped up and given me the extended warranty considering the truck needs such a major repair before delivery. I've started checking around again locally to see if the dealers here are still being nuts and asking $15k over for a truck.

Not too much to update really. My dealer has gotten me a rental as I am going out of town to Vegas this weekend and didn't want to put the road miles on the 11 Raptor. They got me an Expedition which will work well hauling 5 people out. This was my dealer that got me the rental, not Ford Corporate. In fact, my dealer was surprised to hear that I have yet to get a call from my case manager from Corporate.

No update on the part, still waiting. As I stated in another post, I'm inclined to let the situation get to over 30 days as I believe it will increase my options for demands and/or compensation. First time ever going through this, so I have no idea what to expect.

As for Sasquatch77 "likes" or repetitive comments on negativity of the G2 Raptor, all I can say is if you can tune Jake17 out you can tune anyone out. It doesn't bother me. Hopefully I'll have another update before I head out of town on Friday.
