Right. My dealers telling me that there is no timetable for me getting a VIN if I keep the CF package. I ordered back in October and I have nothing yet. My dealer the other night even went as far as to tell me that if I choose to keep the CF package when they get the call that mine is ready for build that they'll give my allocation to the guy waiting behind me who was originally told they were out of allocations. That better not happen or I'll raise hell. Especially because I was the 6th of 6 allocations they were allowed. I want what I want and i shouldn't have to suffer or feel threatened that the next guy can take my place because they are having issues sourcing parts. If that's the case they shouldn't even offer it and just apologize. We are paying good money for these trucks and it's bs. Here's to hoping it all works out.

they are infact in short supply, like i said there are only about 5 of each piece available nation wide. and ford doesn't mean for people to order these parts, they are actually extremely hard to find on the website. one piece doesn't even show a price and has bright red letters saying its for emergency only.
fedex has had delays so i haven't got my shifter yet and still waiting on 2 other pieces, they are still in order processing with ford.

anyone know if the shifter is interchangeable with the gen 1 trucks? Looks similar, and especially if the thing comes as an assembly like that, just the mounting holes and cable interface and console interface needs to be the same. That'd be one stellar upgrade for the gen 1 guys to add. I hate the shifter in mine, the pleather just feels cheap and looks cheap. A CF shifter would look badazz.

My thoughts were only speculation. To me it doesn't make sense that there is shortages of CF and beadlocks right when the trucks are being built. To me that shows a massive lack of planning (probably the case after the truck release fiasco) or it was a certain number of units allowed with CF or beadlocks. Thats why I'm saying it's possible Ford is limiting CF and beadlocks to create scarcity with the packages. If all Raptors had CF and beadlocks then it wouldn't be anything special. Like I said, it's speculation.
