So far I love my new Raptor. Unhappy with the tires due to them being out of balance and having more than 30 led weights on each one. But other than that its been great.

Easy fix on the tires. I take care of people that don't know how to balance stick on wheels every day at my shop.

The tires need to be spun on the wheels to an area that doesn't require so much weight. You have to find someone who knows what they're doing with stick ons. 1/100 do. :specialed:

Ford does that. If you look at every new vehicle when it comes off the carrier there is a sticker on the tire and the wheel that gets lined up. That's for optimum balancing.

More than likely he's got a bad tire. Road force balance would confirm that.

Take it back to the dealer and it will be corrected under warranty

Put 300 miles on the tires

Take it to an independent tire shop (dealers never do it right), have them strip all weights and do a proper road force balance

I look at the weights on the raptor we got yesterday. It just had a normal amount of strip weights and a clip on weight on the inside edges of all 4 wheels.

I'm about 916 miles away from where I'm ordering from :)

these wheel stories sound pretty bad... everything from flats, off balance, not-able to balance... is it a tire or wheel issue?

i haven't checked but it seems all the wheel weight issues are on the beadlock wheels?

It's the tires. They have been really bad so far for staying balanced. I rotate mine every 5k miles when I change the oil and have had to have them re balanced two times in 15k mi. My ko2 are on my 14 with method wheels and are 18". Other than balancing issues they have been excellent, far better in the snow then previous BFG KO.
